Which offline simulators are worth the storage

Which offline simulators are worth the storage

August 7, 2026 · Lukas Berger

Simulation games can get big. City builders, settlement sims, management games — they often pack a lot of assets, and on a phone with limited storage that's a real cost.

Outpost Tideline is a good example of a sim that justifies its footprint. The changing-tide mechanic gives you a reason to keep playing long after a lighter game would wear thin.

Before you commit the space, play the opening hour and ask whether the systems keep opening up or whether you've already seen everything. The best sims reveal new layers slowly.

If a simulator stops surprising you after an evening, uninstall it without guilt. Storage is precious, and there's always another one to try.
