Arcade racers that feel good with touch controls
Racing games on a phone live or die by their controls. Tilt steering sounds fun until you're on a train trying not to lean your whole body into a corner.
Good arcade racers give you options. Neon Dash Circuit offers both tilt and touch, and its touch steering is tuned well enough that I never went back to tilt.
Look for forgiving handling in the arcade category. Simulation-grade physics on a touchscreen tend to feel frustrating; a slight assist makes the whole thing fun instead.
And of course, check that races load offline. A racer that needs a connection to start a single-player lap isn't worth keeping around.
